Port St Mary

Similar in appearance to the Sea Campion, White Campion grows taller and has narrower flowers. It is much less common on the island and is only found in a few places.

White campions prefer open grassy areas. In parts of England they are known as the "Flower of the dead" because they are common in graveyards.

The Manx name for this flower is "Coirran bane", which means "White cauldron".
